The Fall Creek neighborhood is directly north of downtown, south and west of Rt. 13 and up against the east wall of the Cayuga Valley that rises up to Cayuga Heights and Cornell Heights.
Groton, New York is an excellent small town located in the Northeast quadrant of Ithaca. Groton Olde Home Days is a fun festival with delicious food and local entertainment. Groton was founded in 1799 and has a thriving downtown area with restaurants, shops and plenty of small-town charm. Population as of 2010 Census was approximately 6,000.

Newfield is a town in Tompkins County, located southwest of Ithaca with a population of approximately 5,200. Essentially rural and agricultural, it includes many open spaces. Newfield is best known for the The Newfield Covered Bridge, built in 1853, which is the oldest still in daily use in New York State.
Trumansburg is a quaint town on the west bank of Cayuga Lake, located in Tompkins County, New York. It is home to roughly 1,800 people and provides visitors with a thriving downtown area full of restaurants and shops, as well as many annual events and festivals. The town is also close to Taughannock Falls State Park, the GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance, and the Cayuga Wine Trail.
South Hill is located near the south end of Cayuga Lake and includes Ithaca College. It has a population of approximately 6,700.
West Hill is located across the Cayuga Inlet and consists of the region where routes 13, 13A, 79, 96 and 89 converge. The subdivisions that include most of the residences were built in the 1920s, ’30s, and ’40s.
